Space planning guide

Measure once.
Love it forever.

Three products. One bedroom and living setup that works.

Every time
Use a metal tape measure Measure the room, not just the spot Check doorways, hallways and tight corners Leave 60cm+ of walkway around large pieces
Timber Bed Frame
Minimalist design. American oak finish.

The frame extends beyond your mattress on all sides — so measure for the full footprint, not just the mattress size. It also sits higher off the floor than you'd expect, which is great for storage underneath.

What to measure
  1. 1
Your room's full floor space Note where doors and windows are — neither should be blocked. A wall behind the headboard is non-negotiable.
  2. 2
Delivery access The frame ships in flat boxes. Measure your doorways, hallways and any staircases. 80cm+ width is ideal.
  3. 3
Clearance around the bed 60cm either side to move freely. 90cm if you share the bed and don't want to negotiate getting out in the morning.
  4. 4
What's going underneath There's 20cm of clearance below. Check your storage boxes or suitcases fit before you commit.
The headboard needs to sit flush against a solid wall. Plan for this before you set your heart on a floating placement.

Kino Storage Drawer
Under-bed storage for the Timber Bed Frame

The Kino slides in under your Timber Bed Frame — no extra floor footprint, just easily accessible storage. The space is already there; the Kino Drawer simply utilises it. Plus, it arrives fully assembled.

What to measure
  1. 1
Your bed size The Kino fits Double, Queen and King frames.
  2. 2
Drawer clearance The Kino pulls out from the side of the bed. Allow at least 60cm of clear floor space on the pull-out side to fully open and access the drawer.
  3. 3
What you're putting in it The Kino holds up to 40kg. Heavier items toward the back, lighter toward the front for balanced movement.
The Kino doesn't add to your bed's floor footprint — it slides in neatly underneath. Confirm exact drawer dimensions on the product page below.

Slideaway Sofa Bed
3-in-1. Sofa, daybed, double bed. No tools.

Three modes, three footprints to plan for. Always measure for bed mode first — it needs the most floor space. Sofa and daybed mode are the bonus.

What to measure
  1. 1
Bed mode first, always The base slides forward toward you. Make sure there's nothing in front blocking the full extension — roughly 198cm of clear floor from the back wall.
  2. 2
Slide direction The mechanism pulls out from the front. Plan your room so that side always has clearance — even when guests aren't coming.
  3. 3
Delivery access Ships in 2 main parts — frame and base. Each needs about 80cm+ to get through a doorway.
Don't design the room around sofa mode. Anyone who's had to shuffle furniture at 11pm before a guest arrives will tell you — just always plan for bed mode.
